Paul J. Callahan

Paul J. Callahan, a former litigation claims representative, obtained his undergraduate degree and legal degree from the University at Buffalo.  He concentrates his practice on insurance coverage analysis and litigation.  He was a founding member of The Buffalo Intellectual Property Law Journal and served as its Editor-in-Chief.  Admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York and the United States District Court for the Western District of New York, Mr. Callahan frequently lectures to insurers and through the New York State Bar Association and American Bar Association on insurance coverage related matters.  He is also the author of “Insurer’s Avoidance of Policy Obligations for Material Misrepresentations” in the Second Edition of Insurance Law Practice, published by the New York State Bar Association, as well as “Relitigation of Prior Determinations: Potential Perils, Pitfalls, and Safety Lines for Uninsured/Underinsured Motorist Carriers” in the March/April 2007 edition of Coverage, published by the Section of Litigation, Committee on Insurance Coverage Litigation of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Callahan is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the New York State Bar Association’s Torts, Insurance and Compensation Law Section as well as the American Bar Association and the American Bar Association’s Tort, Trial & Insurance Practice Section.
